Packing Tips

  • Invest in plastic containers with lids for items sensitive to moisture
  • Label containers well
  • Keep fragile and heavy items low
  • Make a walkway to access items throughout your space and allow air flow
  • Leave items you'll need most near the front
  • Don't place items sensitive to moisture directly on the concrete, use a pallet as a barrier
  • Do not move in during any type of precipitation, only move in during a dry day to protect your belongings
  • Winter equals blowing snow, be cautious of items placed near door
